Full Tilt Poker pro Huck Seed triumphs at WSOP Tournament of Champions
Full Tilt Poker’s Huck Seed trumped the competition at the 2010 World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions to win the event and scoop the first prize of $500,000. The four-time WSOP bracelet winner edged out Howard Lederer for the top prize. Lederer is also a member of Team Full Tilt. The WSOP Tournament of Champions returns to the main event after a three-year absence. Competitors to the tournament were chosen by the public, who voted for their favorite Full Tilt Poker Referral Code WSOP bracelet winners.
Twenty players were selected from the bracelet winners. To complete the field of 27 players, previous Tournament of Champions winners, current Main event champions and two sponsor exemptions were also included. On the final table, Lederer played a Q-8, which Seed called with A-2. The board ran 7-6-6-9-A to allow Seed to win the Full Tilt Poker Com game and pocket the first prize check amounting to $500,000 and the title “Champion of Champions”.
Huck Seed (or Huckleberry Seed) is best known for winning the 1996 World Series of Poker where he earned his second bracelet and took home the prize of $1,000,000. He also recently won the 2009 NBC Heads-Up Poker Championship, pocketing $500,000 and racking up a new overall record in the event of 18-4, an all time best for win total.
