2010 Online Nominations for Poker Hall of Fame now open
As the World Series of Poker (WSOP) winds down to its final week before going on a break before the November Nine event, Harrah’s and WSOP officials have opened the public nominations for the 2010 Poker Hall of Fame. It can be noted that last year’s Poker Hall of Fame list was marred by the dropping out of Full Tilt Poker’s Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan due to not meeting the requirement for “standing the test of time”, Full Tilt Referral Code.
Like last year’s nomination process, the public is invited to visit the WSOP website and enter their nominee for the new inductees in 2010. Each person is entitled to one vote. On September 1, Harrah’s and WSOP will tally the voting and announce the people eligible to be inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame. The list of nominees usually consists of ten players but can be smaller.
Once the ten Fulltiltpoker com nominees are announced, the 16 living Poker Hall of Fame members and selected media personnel will choose which players are inducted. The top two nominees will be inducted during the play of the November Nine this year. The Poker Hall of Fame was founded in 1979 to honor the true legends of the game. It is one of the most exclusive clubs in the poker industry due to its qualifications that are highly difficult to attain.
